What should I do before the pool opening service?

What is a sump well and why does it need to be drained?

Sump wells collect excess water. They need to be drained to prevent overflow and ensure our crew can work safely.

What if my pool area is gated?

Please make sure the gates are unlocked so our crew can easily access the pool area and begin the service.

How should I store my vinyl cover?

Vinyl covers need to be stored in water. Leave a container out, and we will place the vinyl cover in it. An extra $50 fee applies if algaecide is not provided.

What does the Full Opening package include?

For $300, it includes:

  • Removing water and debris from the cover.
  • Cleaning and storing the cover and waterbags.
  • Reinstalling all pool fittings, accessories, and deck equipment.
  • Cleaning the waterline, coping, and chrome.
  • Clearing winter debris from the deck.
  • De-winterizing equipment.
  • Testing equipment and starting circulation.
  • Super-chlorinating the pool.

What does the Partial/Safety Cover Opening package include?

For $260, it includes the same services as the Full Opening, except the customer removes all water and debris from the cover.

What should I do before the pool opening service?

For $170, it includes our crew installing deck equipment, de-winterizing equipment, and starting and testing the system after the customer completes the full opening.

What are the add-ons available for pool opening?

Add-ons include:

  • Additional cover removal – $49.95
  • Chemical Opening Kit – $55.95.
  • Heater relighting – $124.95
  • Algaecide for vinyl cover – $49.95.

What is your cancellation policy for pool openings?

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. A Late Notice Cancellation Fee of $50.00 will be applied for changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice.
